Hi, People! Welcome to my blog! This should have perhaps been my first post, but this blog was a spontaneous idea and I jumped right into it with this first review... I'm a film fan. I'm from Germany. I've been an aficionado of asian movies and a lover of all things east asian for 30 years. I've studied English and Japanese and Film/Theatre.  I've worked as a News Cameraman and did camerawork in the medical field, a profession I can't still work in due to medical problems. I'm not a film critic, I'm far from objective and the films I chose to review here are films I like or find remarkable in one way or the other. There will be Hong Kong, Mainland Chinese and Japanese subjects here with occasional digressions into Korea. I can't guarantee regular content but I guarantee films that are fun and great.
